Good News: Wearing Masks Is No Longer Mandatory at the Wellness Centre

For more than three years, now, wearing a mask was mandatory at the Wellness Centre. At the height of the pandemic, this was a necessary precaution.

We know that people with cancer are more sensitive to infections. For that reason, we’ve continued to ask everyone to wear a mask at the Wellness Centre.

Until now.

As of August 1, 2023, wearing a mask at the Wellness Centre is now optional.

What does that change for me?

This is what changes for you when you come to the Wellness Centre:

  • Although masks are no longer mandatory, everyone can choose to wear one if they prefer
  • If you prefer to wear a mask, you can ask the Wellness Centre staff to wear one also.
  • If you want to wear a mask and forgot to bring one, we will give you one.

If you have other questions about wearing a mask at the Wellness Centre, please call us at 514-340-3616.

We hope this change makes you as happy as we are to announce it, and we look forward to seeing your smiling faces — unmasked if you want!
