Volunteer

be part of the change

We are always looking for new volunteers. If you are caring, non-judgmental, a good listener and a team player, bilingual (English/French) or multi-lingual, and are comfortable working with those who have cancer, we would like to hear from you.

Volunteering's
Day to Day

We’re always looking for compassionate volunteers who want to make a real difference for people dealing with cancer. We need warm smiles to greet folks at the hospital, friendly faces to chat with patients in waiting rooms and treatment areas, and caring individuals to lend an ear or a helping hand wherever needed. Our amazing volunteers offer compassionate support and a reassuring presence, turning what could be a difficult hospital visit into a brighter experience. If you’ve got a heart of gold and some time to share, we’d love for you to join our team!

Our Current
Volunteer Needs

Hope & Cope is in urgent need of volunteers to fulfill a variety of roles that offer direct support to individuals and families affected by cancer, like :

Volunteer Management Council

The Volunteer Management Council (VMC), established in fall 2018, is a decision-making body that reports directly to the Hope & Cope Board.

The VMC meets regularly to discuss volunteer-related issues and ensure that initiatives adopted for volunteers are implemented.
