Open House, Open Arms, and Open Hearts: The Wellness Centre’s Sweet 16 Corn Roast Is a Resounding Success

Under a blazing sun on a beautiful day, Hope & Cope held its open house celebrating 16 years of existence of the Wellness Centre.

Attendees had the opportunity to participate in many activities including a corn roast, tai chi in the garden, line dancing, and more.

A photo booth allowed people to take pictures to commemorate this beautiful day.

Everyone who hadn’t done so got a chance to meet Hope & Cope’s new executive, Rick Simoneau.

As befits any great celebration, there was cake!

The day was capped by a chocolate-tasting workshop. And the chocolate was to die for!

We estimate that 120 to 150 people showed up to celebrate, and everyone had a great time — as you can tell by the pictures.

We want to thank everyone who attended this year’s celebration.

And if you weren’t able to make it, don’t worry: we’ll have another one next summer … or earlier!

P.S. If you took pictures at the event, share them on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtags #hopeandcopeopenhouse and #lespoircestlavieportesouvertes.
