Land Acknowledgment

Hope & Cope, located in Montreal (Tiohtiá:ke), acknowledges that our offices at 3744 and 4635 Côte Ste. Catherine Road are situated on the traditional territory of the Kanien’kehà:ka. This land has been a place of gathering, dialogue, and exchange for many First Nations, including the Kanien’kehà:ka of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Huron/Wendat, Abenaki, and Anishinaabeg. We honor and respect the Kanien’kehà:ka as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters where we work and support individuals and families affected by cancer.

In our mission, Hope & Cope is dedicated to acknowledging and learning from the rich histories and cultures of Indigenous peoples. We commit to fostering understanding, respect, and collaborative relationships with Indigenous communities. Our goal includes increasing awareness and support for Indigenous Peoples in our services, programs, and partnerships.

We invite feedback or inquiries regarding this acknowledgment or our initiatives.
