I Have Finished Treatment
Now what?
After months of tests, treatments, procedures and more tests, you’ve reached the finish line, only to discover that you’re not really finished. If you feel anxious about the future and are not sure how to move forward, we can help you find your “new normal”.
Resources
Focus on the Future is a 6-session workshop that will address the many issues you are facing, from going back to work to fear of recurrence.
Additional resources include lectures throughout the year that focus on life after treatment.
Peer support
At every stage of the cancer experience, you can find someone who understands what you are going through. We can match you with a peer mentor who can help you make the transition to life after cancer. We also offer a Post-treatment Support Group that meets a few times a year, as well as a few alumni groups for specific cancers.
Wellness
What does living well after cancer mean to you? We encourage you explore the wide variety of courses and programs that focus on wellness in mind-body and spirit at the Hope & Cope Cancer Wellness Centre.
