As you can see by the masthead above, our newsletter now has a name: Volunteer Voices, suggested by Sonia Hazan, a member of our Communications Committee. Our thanks to all the volunteers who responded to our “Name this Newsletter Contest” with creative, thoughtful ideas.

Volunteer Newsletter – Volume 1, Issue 1, June 2019

Welcome!

Hope & Cope is proud to introduce the first issue of this newsletter – by and for volunteers – that will be sent three times a year. Researched and written by the volunteers of the Communications Committee, with the input and supervision of Hena Kon, Communications Specialist at Hope & Cope, it responds to a need that many of you identified in the 2017 Volunteer Survey. In each issue, you will find information about upcoming and past events, resources and programs provided by Hope & Cope, education tips, volunteer profiles and the latest news from the Volunteer Management Council. But, we also need your input to find a name for this newsletter. We invite you to enter our “Name the Volunteer Newsletter” contest for your chance to receive a special gift. The winning title will be announced in the October issue. You may suggest as many titles in English or French as you wish! Please forward your suggestions to hopeandcopecommunique@jgh.mcgill.ca
