La pr\u00e9occupation la plus importante des parents atteints de cancer est peut-\u00eatre de savoir comment g\u00e9rer leur traitement et leurs sympt\u00f4mes, tout en s&rsquo;occupant de leurs enfants et, dans certains cas, en les scolarisant \u00e0 domicile. Comment les familles font-elles face \u00e0 ces changements ? Comment les parents peuvent-ils parler franchement de la maladie \u00e0 leurs enfants tout en les instruisant et en les divertissant ?<\/p>\n<p>Les restrictions impos\u00e9es par COVID-19 ont limit\u00e9 la capacit\u00e9 de Hope &amp; Cope \u00e0 poursuivre ses activit\u00e9s habituelles sur le terrain, bien que de nombreux programmes et activit\u00e9s soient d\u00e9sormais propos\u00e9s en ligne. Par exemple, Sandy Lipkus, coordinatrice du programme En famille de Hope &amp; Cope, a \u00e9crit trois brochures : <em>Parler du cancer aux<\/em> enfants, <em>Parler du cancer avanc\u00e9 et de la fin de vie <\/em>aux enfants, et <em>Parler de la perte d&rsquo;un \u00eatre cher aux enfants <\/em>. Ces brochures<em> <\/em>sont disponibles en anglais et en fran\u00e7ais et fournissent des informations pr\u00e9cieuses aux parents d\u00e9sireux de parler honn\u00eatement \u00e0 leurs enfants du diagnostic de leur cancer.
